Evan Bayh for Vice President

That is my choice. For reasons I explained in this post back in 2005 when he was a prospective candidate for the Democratic Presidential nomination. He is a man of moderation, conviction, independence, integrity and contrasts well with Obama. He is not a great campaigner, and that is a weakness, but in terms of governance, I cannot think of a better fit. Additionally, he brings into play the state of Indiana which no Democrat has won since 1964.
